Melissa has a passion for animals which led to her working 14 years in the veterinary field. Starting as a kennel assistant she worked her way up to a Veterinary Technician and Receptionist. When in 2011 her husband launched a Kickstarter project, Zen Table, she decided to put a hold on her Veterinary career and help him with the woodworking involved in building them. Currently she spends her time fulfilling the backer rewards from that Kickstarter project, caring for her “fur-babies” and nurturing her passion for photography.
